There is a massive issue when it comes to depression in sports. A lot of people are depressed when it comes to sports. This article includes details of some of the actions that we can take. An important thing to remember when it comes to this is that a lot of this is opinion based because there isn’t a huge amount of research when it comes to this area

First of all the actions we are taking currently, this relates to line of inquiry 1, 2 and 3. (1How local environments address people’s needs, 2Equitible access to resources and opportunities, 3Our responsibility for the wellbeing of others.) Although this doesn’t perfectly relate to our questions, it relates pretty well to our sub-question 1. This debate contains some things that we can do and how most people who need to get help. It also relates to our main question because it is about preventing depression rather than helping when it has started.

We have sub-question 1 answered. Our sub question 1 is “what can we do to assist the current structure that gives help to all young athletes,” And well the way we answered it was spectacular. Ok so the LOIs. Martian Heppel told us that if we tell people about our failures and you are part of the local environment. (LOI1), and our responsibility to the wellbeing of others. (LOI3), And remember the question is “What can we do to assist the current structure that gives help to young athletes.

For our sub-question 2 relates to Causation because the question is “what are the CAUSES of young athletes not getting help,” As well as reflection because it is important to reflect on why people got depression. This relates to LOI2 (equitable access to resources and opportunities) because these people may have a lack of information, and we can all agree that information is a resource. We have this very interesting infomercial.

Next, we have the last. Our sub-question 3 is “What do we need to do to address people’s awareness that kids shouldn’t be pressured by adults” This relates to how local environments address peoples needs because in this case, they don’t. This also relates to our responsibility for the wellbeing of others, because you’ll see in a very confronting PowerPoint about where people get pressured from. This relates to causation again because these are the causes of them getting anxious/depressed. It also relates to connection, because this is very “tied in” with culture.

Any questions?
